Anike is an eco-friendly organic skincare brand that is enthusiastic about creating environmentally friendly skincare products and educating the public about the importance of natural ingredients.
Anike expanded their line of products by adding a new skincare item called “Blemish Defense” but saw that its audience did not receive it well.
They sought to raise consumer awareness of and interest in their brand, spur demand for the new product, get suggestions for improvements, and eventually boost sales.
My strategy was straightforward: I created a marketing plan centered on Anike’s current and projected target market. Then, after identifying the social media platforms Anike’s target audience utilized the most, I joined groups on these platforms to spread awareness and gain first-hand knowledge of how they wanted products to be sold to them.
This resulted in revamping their website to increase conversions and the development of landing pages to produce leads. I then nurtured these leads into an organic skincare enthusiast network before marketing to them.
I was able to raise their brand awareness by 380%, spark public interest, and increase sales of both the new Blemish Defense product and the rest of their existing line of products by utilizing Facebook and Instagram advertisements in conjunction with word-of-mouth referrals from the community I developed.
